Beer is one of the Food items in ELEX. It is not used to brew any potions, but can be useful for emergency healing, or to give to other characters in the game to gain favor.

- One beer can be given to Drog, the guard at the main gate of Goliet.
- One beer can be given to Geron, the hunting master outside Goliet, during a dialogue.
- One beer can be given to Ike, an Outlaw fighter at The Fort, before fighting him.
- One beer can be given to Jack, a man being held captive by Reavers at the lighthouse in southern Tavar.
